Job summary

THEATRE PHILADELPHIA in Philadelphia is holding auditions for its upcoming production. Auditions run Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th from 4pm to 8pm, with a Dance Call from 4pm to 5pm (bring tap and jazz shoes) and Vocal Auditions from 5pm to 8pm (32 bar cut, accompanist provided).

Callbacks will be held on Monday, August 24th by invitation. Rehearsals begin November 17th and run through November 25th, and again on November 27th–29th, 9am to 6pm; Tech December 1st–4th (12pm–8pm);

Qualifications

• Prepare a 32-bar vocal cut in the style of the show.
• Dance call requires tap and jazz shoes.
• Callbacks by invitation.

Responsibilities

• Attend auditions on Aug 17–18 in Philadelphia.
• Participate in rehearsals and performances as scheduled.
• Follow stage directions during tech and performances.

Stipend Pay Range (done in 2 installments)- $1500-$2000 total depending on role

How the stipend pay is broken down.

• Minimum rate - $325/rehearsal week (2 weeks of rehearsal/1 week of tech) and $52.50/performance at 10 performances total. This totals $1500, which will be split into two payments.
• Maximum rate - $450/rehearsal week (2 weeks of rehearsal/1 week of tech) and $65/performance at 10 performances total. This totals $2000, which will be split into two payments.
