Western Washington University’s Department of Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies invites applications for non-tenure-track instructor positions. These are temporary, part-time teaching roles throughout the academic year.

We seek excellence in teaching, provide feedback on coursework, hold regular office hours, and mentor majors/minors. A MA or above in feminist/queer studies is required; a PhD is preferred.

Formación

• MA or above in feminist, queer, and intersectional thought and methodologies.
• Experience teaching at college or university level.
• Interest in community-based learning.
• Ability to apply feminist and queer thought across cultures.
• Commitment to inclusive and equitable learning environments.

Responsabilidades

• Teach non-tenure-track courses in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies.
• Provide feedback on course work and hold regularly scheduled office hours.
• Mentor majors/minors and support inclusive pedagogy.
