Job summary

The Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates at the rank of lecturer or senior lecturer for possible temporary/non-tenure track, part-time positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

Assignments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis. Positions are annually renewable, contingent on funding and performance. This pool will be used as needed depending on enrollment and department needs.

Qualifications

• PhD required or exceptions for Master's with relevant expertise and experience.
• Teaching/training experience preferred.

Qualifications

A PhD in engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred. SALARY: Dependent on position and qualifications.
