Non-Surgical Clinical Assistant (CMA or AT)

Join Rothman Orthopaedics as a Full-Time Non-Surgical Clinical Assistant in our Bensalem, PA office! This role supports one of our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physicians and involves travel to our offices in Willow Grove and Chalfont, PA.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM

Job Summary

The Non-Surgical Clinical Assistant assists physicians and physician's assistants with daily clinical and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and escort patients, manage exam rooms, and prepare for patient visits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and inventory, autoclave instruments, and prepare injections.
  • Assist with imaging studies, patient clothing, and proper disposal of biohazards.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scanning documents, recording vitals, and managing patient records.
  • Coordinate with other office areas, attend meetings, and participate in committees.
  • Develop and update physician protocols and handle specimen processing.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant, ATC, or EMT-B program.
  • Active certification/licensure and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; medical office experience preferred.
