Job description

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The incumbent will participate in and support research projects conducted within the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC).

Responsibilities
  1. Support basic, clinical, and population science-based projects as part of the HICCC Youth Enjoy Science Training in Health Equity, Highlighting Environmental Inequities, & Growing neighborHood Teachers and Students (YES in THE HEIGHTS) Program.
  2. Participate in Scientific Enrichment Month, Journal Club, and other educational activities associated with the YES in THE HEIGHTS Program.
  3. This is a temporary, 8-week internship.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in a high school or undergraduate institution required.
