Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPhT preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in non-sterile compounding.
• Familiarity with USP <795> regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with compounding equipment such as balances, ointment mills, and capsule machines.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Compound non-sterile medications such as capsules, creams, ointments, and suspensions.
• Measure, weigh, and mix pharmaceutical ingredients following precise formulas.
• Prepare and label prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain clean and organized compounding areas in compliance with USP 795 guidelines.
• Document batch records, logs, and prescription data accurately.
• Assist in managing inventory of raw materials and supplies.
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service.
