Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Non-Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join the Imaging Department at Ontario, Galion, or Bucyrus locations. This role performs two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnostic purposes and participates in continuous quality improvement activities.

Required ARRT or ARDMS Registry eligibility and current BLS certification. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential; ultrasound experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARDMS Registry eligible.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Preferred: Specific experience and training in Ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Performs two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnosis and study of malfunction.
• Participates in CQI activities.
