Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking a dedicated Teacher to deliver reading and mathematics support for students in Fort Worth. You will create engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and collaborate with families and school personnel to boost student achievement.

Eligible candidates hold a valid teaching certification and have experience with elementary to high school students; opportunities for remote teaching may be available depending on program needs.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Teaching Certification or Statement of Eligibility.
• Experience teaching elementary, middle, and/or high school students.
• Title I experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging learning experiences for students needing academic support.
• Develop and implement reading and math interventions.

What You Have

Active and valid Teaching Certification or Statement of Eligibility

Teaching experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students

Title I experience preferred

Ability to complete district fingerprinting and background clearance, when applicable

Reliable internet access and a computer with webcam for remote teaching, when applicable

What You’ll Be Doing

Create exceptional learning experiences for students in need of academic support

Develop lesson plans and implement academic interventions in reading and mathematics

Engage students in learning and maintain a positive classroom environment

Assess, document, and report student academic data and progress

Collaborate and communicate with principals, classroom teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team

Implement program components and adhere to applicable compliance requirements
