Job summary

Stop & Shop in West Hartford, CT is seeking a motivated Non-Perishable Manager to oversee daily operations across Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy. Lead department teams to meet sales and profit targets while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

You will drive people development, monitor performance, and foster diversity while delivering best-in-class service in a large-format store. Flexible hours and a focus on continuous improvement are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy departments.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.

• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training of non-perishable department team members.
• Monitor associate performance and ensure development plans for professional growth.
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy departments

What you bring to the table

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in retail grocery with knowledge of Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent years of work experience
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a self-starter with a proven track record of success
• Strong ability to influence and communicate effectively across different functions
• Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

The salary range for this position is $64,800-$97,200 and will be commensurate with background, experience as well as internal equity. Bonus eligibility: 12.5%
