Stop & Shop in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a highly motivated Non-Perishable Manager to oversee daily operations across Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen and Dairy. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred) or equivalent years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Grocery, General Merchandise, Health & Beauty Care, Frozen, and Dairy departments.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate the training of all non-perishable department team members.
• Monitor and evaluate associate performance and ensure development plans for professional growth.
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team.
• Control turnover by fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage labor relations to ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
• Address and resolve employee issues and grievances in a timely manner.
• Cultivate a culture of excellence in customer service and ensure well-stocked stores.
• Support team members in training to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Coach and provide feedback to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
• Ensure all departments comply with policies and regulatory requirements.

What you bring to the table:

The salary range for this position is $64,800-$97,200 and will be commensurate with background, experience as well as internal equity. Bonus eligibility: 12.5%
