Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare Franchising, LLC is seeking a compassionate personal care attendant to provide non-medical, in-home care. You will support clients in bathing, grooming, meal prep, housekeeping, companionship, and transportation, while monitoring health and adhering to care plans.

The role offers a base pay of 16.00 per hour, paid orientation and ongoing training, and time-and-a-half for overtime and holidays, with flexible schedules and client matching.

As a personal care attendant with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will:

• Core Hands-On Personal Care (ADLs)

  • Bathing and showering: Assisting clients with full-body washing or getting safely into a shower chair.

  • Grooming and hygiene: Brushing teeth, styling hair, shaving, and performing basic skincare.

  • Dressing assistance: Helping clients choose clothing, put items on, and undress at night.

  • Toileting and peri-care: Managing bathroom transfers, assisting with adult diapers, or helping with basic incontinence hygiene.

  • Mobility and transfers: Helping clients move carefully out of bed, transition to a walker or wheelchair, and navigate the home safely to avoid falls.

• Homemaking and Domestic Support

  • Meal preparation: Planning nutritious menus, cooking meals, portioning food, and physically assisting with feeding if necessary.

  • Light housekeeping: Keeping the client's home tidy by vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, and taking out the trash.

  • Laundry and linens: Washing, folding, and putting away clothes, as well as changing bed sheets regularly.

  • Errands and shopping: Picking up groceries, managing household necessities, and retrieving essential personal care products.

• Companionship and Transportation

  • Social engagement: Engaging in conversations, playing card games, reviewing old photos, and promoting mental alertness.

  • Community connection: Accompanying clients on short walks, attending religious services, or guiding them through recreational activities.

  • Transportation booking: Escorting clients to doctor appointments, social outings, or localized family gatherings.

• Health Supervision and Administrative Support

  • Medication reminders: Prompting clients to take pre-measured medications at scheduled times.

  • Condition monitoring: Observing a client's physical appearance, behavior, or cognitive clarity, and reporting critical health shifts to supervisors or family members.
