Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a Noninvasive Technician to perform daily EKG duties including electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, and Holter monitoring. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care in a high-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, current BLS certification, Basic Dysrhythmia training, and about 1 year of hospital experience in an EKG setting. ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia class.
• Around 1 year of hospital experience, preferably in the EKG department.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Noninvasive Technician performs day to day functions of the EKG department to include electrocardiograms, all treadmill stress tests, Holter monitor hook-up and scan, editing, charging and charting.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
• Successfully complete Basic Dysrhythmia class
• 1 year experience in a hospital setting preferably in the EKG department preferred
