Job summary

Emerson Hospital est à la recherche d'un technicien EKG expérimenté pour rejoindre son équipe de Cardiologie. Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de divers tests cardiologiques, tout en travaillant dans un environnement dynamique. Vous devez posséder une expérience approfondie, ainsi qu'une certification de technicien cardiaque. Ce poste nécessite de bonnes compétences en communication et la capacité de maintenir des relations efficaces avec le personnel et les patients.

Qualifications

• 3 ans d'expérience en tant que technicien EKG requis.
• Doit être certifié en tant que technicien cardiaque dans les 6 mois suivant l'offre.
• Connaissance approfondie de la physiologie cardiopulmonaire normale et pathologique.

Responsibilities

• Effectuer une grande variété de tests cardiologiques et traiter les rapports pour les patients hospitalisés et externes.
• Utiliser l'équipement de tests de stress standard comprenant des tapis roulants et des équipements de surveillance électrocardiographique.

Job description

Reporting to the Office Manager of Emerson Cardiovascular Associates, performs a wide variety of cardiology testing and report processing functions for both inpatients and outpatients.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma
  

Experience

• 3 years of EKG Technician experience required.
• Must have experience in all Electrocardiographic tests (EKG, Holter Monitor, Exercise Stress, Nuclear Stress, Persantine, and Dobutamine stress tests, Pacemaker evaluation).
• Knowledge of standard stress testing equipment including treadmill and electrocardiograph monitoring equipment.
• Demonstrate an advanced knowledge base of normal and pathological cardiopulmonary physiology and exercise metabolism and normal EKG responses at rest and exercise.

Licensure and/or Certification

• Certified Cardiac Technician (must be completed within 6months of offer)
