Job summary

West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, part of the Veterans Health Administration, seeks a Physician (Cardiology) Non-Invasive to provide comprehensive care including non-invasive consultative and inpatient services. The incumbent reports to the Chief of Medicine and will contribute to delivery of high-quality cardiology care within a VA setting.

Qualifications include an MD/DO, an active US license, residency in cardiology, and board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US
• Residency in a cardiology program approved by ABMS or AOA
• Board eligibility/certification preferred for faculty or in practice
• Experience in non-invasive cardiology is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care and consultation
• Attend to in-patient and consultative cardiology duties as assigned
• Engage in teaching and mentoring residents and medical staff
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with VA policies
