Job summary

Lee County Healthcare Center is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide comprehensive patient care including non-invasive consultation and outpatient services for Veterans. The physician reports to the Cardiology Section Chief and will supervise teams, participate in education, and ensure quality and timely access to care.

Required MD/DO with US licensure and residency in a core specialty; English proficiency is mandatory.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency in an accredited core specialty with board eligibility.
• English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Board certification in Cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PAs, NPs, and residents with annual performance reviews and reports.
• Oversee patient care and treatment planning within cardiology services.
• Participate in education and training of students and residents.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinic management to ensure timely access to care.
