Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join the Cardiovascular Services team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. The position includes inpatient and outpatient duties across multiple campuses, with involvement in the Valve Clinic and TAVR program.

• Perform nuclear stress tests and participate in Valve Clinic and TAVR program.
• Collaborate with Hospitalist and cardiology teams for multidisciplinary care.
• Fulfill call responsibilities on a 1-in-7 rotation.

Overview

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Join an established cardiology practice that includes Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, Interventional, Invasive, and Non-Invasive Cardiology specialists
• Each physician has a dedicated RN and MOA and there are 12 Advanced Practice Providers that support the practice
• Assess, diagnosis and treat cardiac disease states in both an inpatient and outpatient setting
• Valve Clinic and TAVR program
• Inpatient management at 3 Hospital campuses and outpatient Clinic responsibilities at eight clinic sites in the Central Illinois Region
• Nuclear stress tests at all three hospitals
• Call schedule requirement: 1 in 7 rotating weeknight call in the Hospital; weekend call is 7 am Friday to 7 am Monday on a 1 in 7 rotation
• Average of 20 patients/day in the hospital
• Collaborate with the Hospitalist team, other specialists, and cardiology colleagues for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $575,000 - $600,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
