Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

This role includes inpatient and outpatient care across three campuses, a Valve Clinic and TAVR program Watchman, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to advance patient care in central Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat cardiac disease states in both an inpatient and outpatient setting
• Valve Clinic and TAVR program Watchman
• Inpatient management at multiple hospital campuses and outpatient clinic responsibilities in the Central Illinois region
• Nuclear stress tests at two hospitals
• Collaborate with Hospitalist team, other specialists, and cardiology colleagues for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

Overview

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join our Cardiovascular Services team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Join an established cardiology practice that includes Heart Failure, Electrophysiology, Invasive, and Non-Invasive Cardiology specialist, CT surgery and vascular surgery
• Each physician works with an RN and MOA and there are 15 Advanced Practice Providers that support the practice
• Assess, diagnosis and treat cardiac disease states in both an inpatient and outpatient setting
• Valve Clinic and TAVR program Watchman
• Inpatient management at 3 Hospital campuses and outpatient Clinic responsibilities at s clinic sites in the Central Illinois Region
• Nuclear stress tests at two hospitals
• Call schedule requirement: 1 in 4 rotating weekly call Tuesday to Tuesday
• Collaborate with the Hospitalist team, other specialists, and cardiology colleagues for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

• Monitoring and EKGs at all of seven local Cardiovascular clinics and three hospitals

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $725,000 - $730,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
