Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL as a Nocturnist with 7 nights on/7 nights off. You will manage admissions and cross coverage from 7 pm to 7 am, with a closed ICU staffed by Intensivists, covering Methodist, Proctor and Pekin hospitals in an Epic EMR environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physician.
• Nocturnist experience preferred.
• Willing to work night shifts 7 pm–7 am and 7 nights on/7 nights off.

• Manage admissions and cross coverage from 7 pm to 7 am.
• Support a closed ICU staffed by intensivists.
• Cover one hospital per shift within an integrated Epic EMR system.

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

• Nocturnist position
• Join a dedicated team of 5 Nocturnists.
• Join an established, dynamic and talented team of Physicians and APP’s, working in a collaborative environment focusing on patient-centered care
• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Responsible for admissions and/or cross coverage from 7 pm - 7 am based on the campus
• Closed ICU staffed by Intensivist Providers 24/7
• Nocturnist team provides coverage at Methodist (349-bed) , Proctor (210-bed), and Pekin (95-bed) Hospitals for admissions and cross coverage. Provider will only cover one hospital each shift.
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $345,000 - $527,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
