Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Milford, CT. The role focuses on non-invasive cardiology with potential outpatient duties and TEEs, providing patient care in an inpatient setting.

Schedule includes Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with 1-2 nights of call per week and one weekend of call per month. Board certification with BLS and ACLS is required, and Interstate Medical Licensure Compact is accepted.

Qualifications

• Board certified in cardiology or equivalent subspecialty.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required for clinical practice.
• Interstate Medical Licensure Compact acceptable; active license required.
• Credentialing timeframe typically 30–60 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver non-invasive cardiology care for inpatient and select outpatient cases.
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs) when indicated.
• Provide on-call coverage 1–2 nights weekly and 1 weekend per month.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p; 1-2 nights of call per week; 1 weekend of call per month
• Practice Setting: Inpatient with the potential of some outpatient
• Type of cases and required procedures:Non invasive cardiology cases and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Must be board certified; Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Licensure required: Will accept an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact in hand
