Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a physician to provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, perform and interpret echocardiography, nuclear studies, MRI, and CTA, and collaborate with interventional and heart failure teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.

You will maintain accurate medical records, participate in quality improvement activities, precept students and residents, and stay current with advances in cardiovascular

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Current, unrestricted Virginia medical license
• Current, unrestricted DEA license
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
• Residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology
• Ability to read echocardiography and nuclear studies

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiovascular care in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform and interpret echocardiography, nuclear cardiology studies, and stress testing
• Interpret cardiac MRI and CTA
• Participate in call coverage and collaborate with cardiology teams
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in quality improvement
