Job summary
Mary Washington Healthcare seeks an experienced interventional cardiologist to lead complex cardiovascular care across Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic heart conditions, performing PCI and transcatheter valve procedures as credentialed, with emphasis on patient outcomes.

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted Virginia medical license.
- Current, unrestricted DEA license.
- Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Cardiology.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency in PCI and echocardiography.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Oversee call coverage at Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital.
- Perform PCI with balloon angioplasty and stent placements.
- Conduct TTE and TEE imaging.
- Perform transcatheter valve procedures as credentialed.
- Collaborate with Structural Heart Team for patient care.
- Respond to STEMI and acute cardiovascular emergencies.
- Precept and teach medical students and residents.
