Job summary

UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full-time, general non-invasive cardiologist to join its expanding team in 2026 or 2027. The successful candidate will provide inpatient/outpatient services at UPMC Jameson and/or Horizon locations with a clinical academic appointment and teaching opportunities.

Responsibilities include inpatient cardiology consultations, critical care, ECG analysis, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography interpretation, and potential involvement in

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiology is required.
• Pennsylvania medical license is required.
• Proven experience in non-invasive cardiology practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient/outpatient cardiology consultations.
• Perform/interpret transthoracic echocardiograms and ECG analysis.
• Weekend coverage shared on a 1:4 rotation.
• Clinical academic appointment with teaching opportunities.
