Job summary

UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute seeks a full-time non-invasive cardiologist for a clinical academic appointment to join its expanding team in Pennsylvania. The role includes inpatient/outpatient services at UPMC Jameson and/or UPMC Horizon, with a weekend 1:4 rotation and opportunities to teach.

The successful candidate will provide inpatient consultations, echocardiography, nuclear studies, and participate in a collaborative environment supported by APPs and a strong team.

Qualifications

• Experience in non-invasive cardiology practices.
• Inpatient/outpatient cardiology services.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient cardiology consultations.
• Critical care services.
• ECG analysis and interpretation.
• Interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Perform/interpret transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Cardiac nuclear studies.
• Option to teach.
• Weekend coverage 1:4.
