Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, Minnesota, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our Heart & Vascular team. This full-time role involves work in ambulatory and hospital outpatient settings with cardio consult rotations.

You will work with interventional and non-invasive colleagues in a high-tech cardiovascular lab, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and patient-centered care, and participate in teaching and potential research opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease
• Expertise in non-invasive imaging modalities
• Minnesota medical licensure eligibility

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care with prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests (echo, stress, nuclear, CCT, CMR)
• Collaborate on personalized treatment plans with colleagues
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of residents and students
• Engage in quality improvement and potential clinical research
