Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN invites a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our Heart & Vascular team. This full-time role offers work in ambulatory and hospital outpatient settings with acute care rotations, teaching, and opportunities for research.

You will perform non-invasive imaging, collaborate on treatment plans, and contribute to high-quality care in a forward-thinking, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease.
• Expertise in non-invasive imaging modalities.
• Cardiac CT would be desired and CMRI reading would be plus.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.
• H1b and J1 visa candidates are eligible for this opportunity.
• A strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with emphasis on prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests, including echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, CCT, and CMR.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Participate in teaching and mentorship opportunities with residents and medical students.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and have the option to contribute to clinical research if desired.
