Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a General Non-Invasive Cardiologist for the Pahrump Clinic in Nevada. The role focuses on patient care, community engagement, and collaboration with APPs, RNs, and MAs to deliver quality cardiovascular services.

You will work 4 ten-hour days (Mon–Thu) with Fridays off, providing care to adults, mainly 65+. On-site echocardiography, exams, and tailored care plans are part of daily duties, with a supportive benefits package and potential visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Cardiology.
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at the Pahrump Clinic.
• Work with an established cardiology team including APPs, RNs, and MAs.
• Perform on-site echocardiography, physical examinations, diagnoses, and develop care plans.
• Maintain a 4-day work week (Mon–Thu; clinic closed Fri).
• Care for adult patients, predominantly 65+, within community.

Education

Residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology

Board certification or eligibility in General Cardiology

Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one

About this role:

As a Cardiology Physician you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide patient care at our Pahrump Clinic where you will work to build a relationship within the community.

• This position includes assign-on bonus up to $30,000.00, annual Hero Stipend of $25,000.00, and a relocation allowance up to $20,000.00 if applicable.
• You will practice at our clinic in Pahrump, Nevada
• Services provided on site: echocardiography, physical examinations, diagnosis, and care plans
• Your work schedule would be 4 ten hour days Mon-Thurs. The clinic is closed on Fridays.
• Daily patient consensus is 20, patient population is adult only, predominantly 65 years and older
• You would join an established cardiology team, APPs, RNs, and MAs
• Work-life balance through reasonable call, weekend, and rounding schedule
