Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a full-time, permanent role in Munster, IN. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a flexible work arrangement and a 1:7 call rotation, with relocation assistance available.

The role focuses on long-term care of patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions in a tech-forward environment, including EPIC EMR usage and AI-assisted documentation tools. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in cardiovascular disease.
• Unrestricted Indiana medical license required with CSR/DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term care for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive tests (2D/3D echo, stress testing, EKG, Holter, CT/MRI).
• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons to determine when invasive procedures are necessary and provide post-procedural medical management.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement lifestyle or pharmacological interventions to prevent progression of cardiovascular disease.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and documentation.

Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Job Type : Full-time, Permanent | Monday - Friday, flexible work schedule | 1:7 call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide long-term care for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease
• Clinic patients per day: 20-25
• Call Rotation: 1:6
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular tests, including 2D/3D echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, Holter monitoring, and cardiac CT/MRI
• Conduct risk assessments and implement lifestyle or pharmacological interventions to prevent the progression of cardiovascular disease
• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons to determine when invasive procedures are necessary and provide post-procedural medical management

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Cardiovascular Disease
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
