Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist for a full-time, permanent position in Munster, IN.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with flexible timing and a 1:7 call rotation, relocation assistance, and a focus on physician well-being. Responsibilities include long-term care for chronic cardiovascular conditions, performing non-invasive tests, and collaborating with specialists to determine when invasive procedures are needed.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Unrestricted Indiana Medical License with CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term care for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and CAD.
• Clinic patients per day: 20-25.
• Call Rotation: 1:6 to 1:7.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive tests (2D/3D echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, Holter, cardiac CT/MRI).
• Conduct risk assessments and implement lifestyle or pharmacological interventions.
• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons for invasive procedure decisions.

Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Responsibilities

• Provide long-term care for patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions such as heart failure, hypertension, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease


• Clinic patients per day: 20-25


• Call Rotation: 1:6


• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiovascular tests, including 2D/3D echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, Holter monitoring, and cardiac CT/MRI


• Conduct risk assessments and implement lifestyle or pharmacological interventions to prevent the progression of cardiovascular disease


• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiologists and Cardiothoracic Surgeons to determine when invasive procedures are necessary and provide post-procedural medical management

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Cardiovascular Disease


• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration


• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools


• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
