Job summary

Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital in Utah is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular program. You will collaborate with one Non-Invasive Cardiologist, two Interventional Cardiologists, one Electrophysiologist and experienced Advanced Practice Providers to deliver patient-centered cardiovascular care in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Active Utah medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass Intermountain credentialing process.
• Visa sponsorship reviewed on an individual basis.
• Will consider new fellows.
• Ability to perform TEEs and read Nuc, Echo.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the regional cardiovascular team including Interventional and Electrophysiology specialists to deliver patient-centered care.
• Provide high-quality cardiovascular care at Cedar City Heart Clinic.
• Participate in a shared reading rotation with the St. George cardiology team and regional collaboration.

Practice Details

Join a well-established cardiovascular program at Cedar City Heart Clinic. Current practice includes one physician and two Advanced Practice Providers. Shared call responsibilities: Approximately one weekend every two months, Approximately one weeknight every two weeks. Hospital call is supported through our regional network in St. George Regional Cardiovascular Excellence. As part of Intermountain Health's cardiovascular network, you'll be closely connected with the highly respected team at Southwest Cardiology in St. George, which includes specialists in: Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, Advanced Cardiac Imaging, Structural Heart Disease. The program is further enhanced by a robust cardiothoracic surgery team and comprehensive cardiovascular services throughout Southern Utah.

How we’ll support you:

Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of a base salary of $718,000. Additionally, there is up to $100,000 of quality bonuses available in year 2. We are also offering a $30,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus is also available if applicable. The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $7.25 - $999.99. We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package. What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
• Candidate requiring visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
• Will consider new fellows
• Ability to perform TEEs and read Nuc, Echo
