Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Non-Interventional Pain Specialist to work full-time at our Racine and Kenosha locations. The successful candidate will focus on providing conservative treatments for pain management in a supportive environment.

This role offers the integration of advanced tools like DAX Copilot for clinical documentation and provides a strong referral base, ensuring a busy practice from the start.

Applicants must complete an accredited Residency, and we welcome new graduates as well as practicing physicians.

Qualifications

• Must have background in chronic pain management or interest.
• Open to new graduates or experienced physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-interventional pain management in the clinic.
• Conduct virtual visits as needed.
• Manage medication and referrals for non-traditional treatments.
• Work alongside support staff including RNs and MAs.

Compensation: $347,057-$347,057 salary plan, and sign-on bonus eligible

Description & Requirements

Join Aurora Health Care as a Non-Interventional Pain specialist in Racine, Wisconsin - part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country.

Responsibilities

• Full-time non-interventional Pain Management Physician
• You will work at both our Racine and Kenosha locations where you will see patients in clinic and will conduct virtual visits as needed
• You will focus on non-interventional, conservative rehabilitative and behavioral therapies and treatments for managing chronic or acute pain for a diverse patient population
• You will provide appropriate medication management in addition to referrals for other non-traditional treatments such as acupuncture, nutrition/diet and exercise, and physical and occupational therapies
• Shared office space is also used for virtual visits and there are 2-3 exam rooms in clinic
• RN and MA support for the practice
• No procedures, however strong desire for someone who has an interest in doing EMGs in Kenosha, EMG equipment on-site in the neurology clinic
• Excellent referral base, current wait times are up to four weeks - will be busy from day one
• Monday - Friday, no call; after hour calls are triaged by phone service
• EPIC EMR
• Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
• Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
• Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients

Training and/or Experience Required

• Completion of an accredited Residency is required.
• A Fellowship in Pain Management is not required, however must have a background, understanding, or interest in chronic pain.
• Open to both new graduates and practicing physicians.
