Job summary

Macquarie is seeking a Senior Manager in its Risk Management Group to act as the second line of defence for Cybersecurity, Technology, AI, Information Security and Data Risk across the Americas. You will lead engagement with first line teams, challenge risk reporting, and oversee risk data and governance efforts to strengthen Macquarie’s non-financial risk posture.

You will work within a global risk framework, partnering with regulators, auditors, and senior management while driving improvements

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in non-financial risk within dynamic, regulated financial institutions or financial services firms, including exposure to technology, cybersecurity, and risk management in commodities trading, financing, and financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of technology risk frameworks, industry practices, and regulatory environments.
• Analytical and commercially minded risk professional with ability to make independent risk recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to lead risk discussions with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary second line of defence contact on Cybersecurity, Technology, AI, Information Security and Data Risk for the Americas.
• Represent the Non-Financial Risk team in Americas management forums and committees.
• Review reporting, risk assessments, significant incidents, KRIs and assurance activities.
• Oversee analysis of non-financial risk data to identify themes and improve risk management outcomes.
