Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a versatile Plant Operator for OmniSource operations in Saint Marys Township, Ohio. The role involves picking, sorting, operating equipment (including forklift) and keeping the area clean to support daily production.

You'll inspect equipment, fuel and lubricate daily, assist in purchasing, sorting and packaging NF materials, and help track inventory changes to support perpetual inventory goals. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
