About the Job

Job Duties: A summer position dedicated to working with a Teachspin condensed matter dewar. Responsibilities include setting up physics experiments, data collection, and updating the lab webpage. Specific tasks include:

  1. 70% setting up the dewar and taking data on new samples
  2. 20% writing procedures and updating the webpage
  3. 10% data analysis and literature review

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required: BA/BS in Physics or related field, 6 months experience in experimental physics labs, coursework in Phys 4051 and 4052, excellent scientific writing skills. Preferred: 3 months experience with Teachspin dewar, 1 year with Matlab.
