Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking an experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to perform inspections on large, custom-engineered industrial components in a manufacturing environment in Marshalltown, IA. This on-site role offers a competitive pay range and opportunities for sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

The position requires hands-on NDT methods (UT, RT, MT/MPI, PT/LPT, VT) with ASME/ANSI/ISO knowledge and 2+ years of related experience, along with ASNT/AWS qualifications

Qualifications

• Associate degree in NDT, NDT certificate, or equivalent education and experience.
• 2+ years of NDT, manufacturing, inspection, or quality experience.
• Hands-on experience with UT, RT, MT/MPI, PT/LPT, or VT inspection methods.
• Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and ISO 9000 standards.
• ASNT and/or AWS qualifications preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office and documentation skills.

• Inspect in-process materials and components for compliance with quality requirements and specifications.
• Interpret and document NDT/NDE inspection results.

• Ensure compliance with applicable ASME, ANSI, and ISO standards.
• Support manufacturing, quality, supplier, and internal/external audit activities.
• Maintain NDT equipment and a safe, organized inspection area.
