Job summary

Dallas College is seeking non-credit adjunct faculty to teach non-credit workforce courses on a primarily on-site basis. Compensation is hourly and varies by program and contract, with potential hybrid options after six months depending on policy and duties.

A background check is required for employment consideration. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience with content-area expertise and strong communication skills, and may hold relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with direct work experience in the content area.
• Certification/licensure related to the course content (if applicable).
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver non-credit course syllabi and essential course information.
• Maintain records for grades and attendance per institutional guidelines.
• Provide student evaluations and meet end-of-course reporting deadlines.
• Complete required professional development hours as specified by the college.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
