Job summary

Formel D is seeking an NCM Specialist in the York, United States area to identify non-conforming materials and ensure engineering standards are met. You’ll manage inventory accuracy, communicate with suppliers, and document via SAP-driven systems, supporting quality control initiatives.

The role emphasizes physical tasks, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain traceability across shipments and parts.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months working with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience in quality assurance, logistics or inventory control.
• Ability to interpret engineering blueprints is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and via email.
• Results-focused with teamwork and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inspect incoming materials against engineering drawings.
• Record defects and non-conformance in SAP/ERP systems.
• Create return purchase orders, arrange UPS shipments, and track returns.
• Produce end-of-shift summary reports, meeting quality/productivity targets.
• Maintain daily inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Handle physical tasks: lift up to 25 lbs and safe handling per PPE.
