Job summary

ABM is seeking an experienced One-Man Plant responsible for all aspects of facility management services and operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operations, driving safety and reliability while improving operations through learning and development of the team.

The position offers a day shift with hourly pay of $53.23 and weekly pay, with benefits through LOCAL 501 and ABM’s comprehensive package.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience.
  • Five (3) years of Team Management experience.
  • Entry level Engineers with Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field and no work experience in Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the facility’s critical physical infrastructure.
  • Oversee the development and accuracy of site-level operating procedures and other documentation.
  • Supervise and elevate ABM’s response to after-hours emergencies at assigned facilities.
  • Manage the Change Management Program.
  • Manage the MOP, SOP and EOP Program.
  • Audit all CMMS databases for accuracy and completeness, produce reports as required at customer request, control system access and user credentials.
  • Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures of assigned contracts.
  • Manage the complete physical assets pertaining to the Operation and Maintenance of the critical and non-critical infrastructure equipment and systems.
  • Resolve electrical, mechanical and Fire Protection System issues in the facilities while minimizing risk and business impact.
  • Manage the customer relationship and act as the single point-of-contact for all facility-related issues, including schedules, new business, projects, budgets, expansion, and staffing.
  • Set, review and approve employee work/PTO schedules; audit and process employee time and payroll.
  • Manage access to the facilities ensuring the appropriate access control lists are maintained and reviewed regularly.
  • Make space and power recommendations to the customer and manage power and cooling capacity and environmental conditions.
  • Ensure compliance of Customer SLA parameters and Change Control activities, review and approve all system changes.
  • Ensure ABM training expectations are met and audit the process monthly.
  • Identify, vet, and approve all sub-contractors who will perform work on-site.
  • Develop PM contract scopes-of-work, ensure contract terms are fulfilled

Required
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field with three (3) years of work experience is preferred
  • Without a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field, seven (5) years of experience is preferred
