Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a Non-Certified General Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic studies under indirect supervision in the Radiology department.

The role supports ED, OR, inpatient floors, and Birthing Center with a strong emphasis on safety and patient care. Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and be graduate eligible from a certified radiologic technology program, with a current temporary OBMI license and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be graduate eligible of a certified radiologic technology training program.
• Current temporary license in Radiologic Technology (OBMI) required.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs General Radiology examinations under indirect supervision.
• Adheres to Health and Safety Policies and department procedures.
• Collaborates with clinicians, nurses and other staff in diagnostic testing.
• Maintains inventory and records as requested.
• Utilizes the Nighthawk System and supports Lean improvement initiatives.
