Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a General Radiologic and Procedure Technologist in Diagnostic Radiology. The role operates imaging devices, including portable and fixed fluoroscopy, and performs radiographic studies per department guidelines.

You will work with physicians, nurses, and other professionals across OR, ED, and inpatient units. The position requires radiologic technology training and current ARRT/OBMI certification, BLS, and a strong focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified radiologic technology training program.
• Current OBMI/ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (RT).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider or obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform General Radiology examinations per department policies and protocols.
• Operate C-arm in OR and Medical Diagnostic Unit including OR-tho/spine, endoscopy, ERCP and other procedures.
• Assist interventional radiology procedures and radiology support teams as needed.
• Prepare patients for procedures and maintain sterile and non-sterile fields.
• Ensure proper positioning, equipment setup, and communicate with care teams and patients.
• Maintain records, documentation, and adherence to health-safety policies and procedures.
