Legacy Village located in Xenia, OH is an assisted living and memory care community operated by National Church Residences. We are seeking Certified/STNA or Non-Certified Aides who will share in our mission to advance better living and care for our seniors.

As an Aide, you will assist residents with daily living activities, support with mobility and restorative care, and report needs to the supervisor on duty.

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience assisting with ADL's in a senior care facility preferred.
• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to fluently read, write and speak English.
• Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite.

# **Job Description:****Legacy Village Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility****Full Time****2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm****Five Days a Week:*** Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday PLUS* Every Other Monday and Friday OR Saturday and Sunday (alternating weekends) **Legacy Village** located in **Xenia, OH** is an assisted living/memory care community with a team of health care professionals that is unmatched in the area! We are owned and operated by **National Church Residences**, the nation’s largest non-profit provider of affordable senior housing and health care services. ***We are seeking Certified/STNA's or Non-Certified, Non-STNA Aides who will share in our vision to advance better living and care for our seniors!***## PURPOSEAs an Aide, you will assist residents with the numerous activities of daily living (ADL's) while encouraging and guiding them to maintain/reach the highest level of function in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report the needs and concerns to the supervisor on duty.**Qualified candidates for this position offer:*** High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.* Two years or more experience assisting with ADL's in a senior care facility preferred.* Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.* Must be able to fluently read, write and speak English.* Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** Performs/assists with all resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living as needed. Including but not limited to: Lifting, turning, positioning, transporting; bathing, dressing functions, oral hygiene and grooming; answering and responding to call lights in a timely and professional manner; providing restorative care including but not limited to range of motion, ambulation, and bowel and bladder training.* Provides all additional resident care needs and comforts of daily living.
