Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a Non-CDL Van Driver in Palm Springs, CA to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. This is a safety-sensitive position focused on student safety.

You will conduct pre-trip inspections, manage student behavior, and communicate with students, parents and staff. The role offers competitive pay, medical/dental/vision, and a supportive team with a modern fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Certifications required by state for non-CDL van operation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

As a Non-CDL Van Driver at Zūm, you will safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities while ensuring a positive and secure environment. This is a safety-sensitive position because you are responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle transporting students, and any impairment could create a significant risk of harm. Requirements:

• This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Additional certifications required by state for legal non-cdl van operation
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• Minimum age: 21 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
