Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a van delivery driver to service customers in the Taunton, MA area. You will start early (4:30am) on a 5 day schedule (Mon-Sat) and complete routes with local travel, delivering food products to restaurants, schools, and hospitals.

You will unload cases up to 100 lbs and be home every day. Qualifications include at least 1 year of driving and 1 year in customer service or related field, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• One year of previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers, building relationships with restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other accounts.
• Travel locally and be home every day.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout the shift.

Van Delivery Driver

Location: 630 John Hancock Rd Taunton MA 02780

Previous driving and delivery experience preferred.

Are you interested in a driving position but don't know where to start? Picture yourself as a van delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. You'll be traveling locally and home every day, and you'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout your shift. Schedule: 5 day work week Monday- Saturdays. Start time 4:30am & work until the route is finished.

Pay: $22.00/ hr

Does this look like you?

• At least18years of age

• One year of previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field.

• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds

• Ability to lift up to 100lbs throughout the shift

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check

• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
