Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Taunton, MA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join our team. You will build relationships with customers and deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals and universities on local routes. This role features night schedules, home daily, and a component pay structure with weekly pay.

You may unload up to 100 lbs and use a ramp and two-wheeler during shifts. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License.
• Food Service Delivery Experience Preferred.
• Ability to unload cases up to 100lbs.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT standards.
• Veterans encouraged to apply.
• DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers such as restaurants, schools and hospitals.
• Build relationships with customers during daily routes.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs and operate a ramp and two-wheeler.
• Work with a component pay structure and be paid weekly.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 630 John Hancock Rd, Taunton MA 02780

Schedule: 4/5 Night Work Week - Sunday - Friday - Start time between 9pm & 11pm & work until route complete. You are home daily!

Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Pay

Our drivers annual pay ranges starting at $100+K

Our drivers are paid on a component pay structure. You are paid for the work that you do!

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License
• Food Service Delivery Experience Preferred
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift cases up to 100lbs
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
