Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Van Delivery Driver in Coppell, TX. You will be on local routes, delivering food products to a variety of customers, and returning home daily.

Expect early start times, up to 100 lbs unloads, and the opportunity to build solid customer relationships while representing a respected food-service partner. Requirements include a valid CDL, 1 year driving and 1 year customer-service experience, plus the ability to lift up to 350 lbs and pass a drug test with a clean DOT

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• At least 1 year of driving experience and 1 year in customer service or related field.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 lbs.
• Must pass a drug test and background check, with clean DOT driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers, restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries.
• Handle unloading of cases as required during shifts.
• Follow safety, DOT, and company policies on route and vehicle operation.
• Respect customer needs while maintaining efficient, on-time delivery routes.

Van Delivery Driver

Location: 893 Freeport Pkwy, Coppell TX

Are you interested in a driving position but don't know where to start? Picture yourself as a van delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. You’ll be traveling locally and home every day, and you’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs throughout your shift. Schedule

Monday-Saturday, with one day off during week. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish.

Pay

Pay: $21 and up depending on experience

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Commercial drivers license
• One year of previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
