Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Non-CDL Van Driver at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, CA. The role reports to the Parking & Transportation Department and focuses on safe, courteous guest and employee transportation.

Candidates should have a valid Class C license, experience in passenger transport or hospitality, and be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior ski resort experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on safety and service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C Driver License with clean driving record.
• Experience in passenger transportation or shuttle driving preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18+ and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Prior ski resort or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports guests and employees while maintaining required records and documentation.
• Comply with FMCSA, DOT, and CHP requirements.
• Communicate with departments using phone, text, email, radio, and in-person channels.
• May transport staff or guests off-site as needed.

Homewood is seeking a Non-CDL Van Driver to join the Parking & Transportation Department.**Job Summary:**Non-CDL Van Drivers are responsible for safely transporting guests and employees while providing professional, reliable, and courteous guest service.**Duties & Responsibilities:*** Safely transports guests and employees while maintaining all required daily records and documentation, including driver check-out sheets, passenger counts, and fueling records.* Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and California Highway Patrol (CHP) requirements.* Communicate effectively with all departments, including the Director of Base Operations, using phone, text, email, two-way radio, and in-person communication.* Occasionally may be required to transport staff or guests off site as needed.* Other duties as assigned.**Skills & Qualifications:*** Valid Class C Driver License and a driving record meeting the standards required by Homewood’s insurance carrier.* Previous experience in passenger transportation, shuttle driving, or a similar role is preferred.* Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.* Prior ski resort or hospitality experience preferred.* 18 years of age or older.**Additional Requirements:*** Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment.* Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.* Ability to work in a team environment.* Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.* Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
