CTDI is seeking a Non-CDL Truck Driver for local routes with home daily schedules and overtime opportunities. The role involves operating a small box truck to move cargo within the local area, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring safe, compliant deliveries.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Completes vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading/unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Obtains signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors truck maintenance and repair.
• Provides excellent customer service and represents the company positively.
• Complies with all Federal and State DOT regulations and warehouse safety rules.

Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE

We are currently hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver (also known as Box Truck Driver, Local Delivery Driver, or Straight Truck Driver) to drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.

Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE

• Position: Non-CDL Truck Driver
• 1st Shift: Flexible Early Morning Shifts, Monday to Friday, Occasional Saturdays
• Pay: starting at $ 24.12
• Hours: 40-50 hours per week
• Overtime: 0-10 hours per week
• Pay Schedule: Weekly paycheck (every Thursday)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experienceor willing to complete a company driving training program
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
• Strong commitment to customer service

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary
• Flexible early morning shifts
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods
