Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking an enthusiastic Non CDL driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in the Salt Lake City, UT area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver excellent customer service daily.

Responsibilities include safe operation of a box truck, timely deliveries, route management, and adherence to DOT regulations. A valid DOT medical card, clean driving record, and flexible attitude are required.

• Delivery driving in a 26 ft box truck.

• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Knowledge of DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused Non CDL driver with professional box truck driving experience who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Salt Lake City, UT area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. What you will do

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box truck )
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting!

What we are looking for

• Valid DOT medical card
• Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck
• Driving within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Clean driving record
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On time delivery practices

Competitive salary - This position is offering a SET (non-negotiable) rate of $24.50 per hour $24.50 - $24.50 an hour
