Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a customer-focused Non CDL driver to operate a 26-foot box truck across the Salt Lake City area. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver high-level customer service daily.

Responsibilities include safe driving, route management, loading/unloading, and ensuring DOT compliance. A strong customer focus and ability to lift heavy loads are essential for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Valid DOT medical card.
• Delivery experience in a 26 ft box truck.
• Clean driving record.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Experience with DOT compliance and logging hours/roadside inspections.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focusedNon CDL driver with professional box truck driving experience who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Salt Lake City, UT area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What you will do

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box truck)
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting!

What we are looking for

• Valid DOT medical card
• Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck
• Driving within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Clean driving record
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On time delivery practices
