Job summary

Daniels Health in Salt Lake City is seeking an enthusiastic Class B driver with professional box truck driving experience to safely collect sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customers and deliver outstanding service.

The role requires a 26 ft box truck, DOT medical card, reliable route adherence, and a strong customer focus. Concrete schedule Monday–Friday 5:00 AM to finish, with full-time benefits and steady hours.

Qualifications

• Valid DOT medical card is required.
• Delivery experience with a 26 ft box truck is required.
• Clean driving record and DOT compliance knowledge.
• Flexible, customer-focused attitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting and delivering medical waste containers.
• Provide strong customer service and build positive relationships.
• Operate a 26 ft box truck and comply with safety policies.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and communicate changes clearly.
• Load/unload as needed and manage truck per schedule.
• Follow DOT regulations, log hours, and handle inspections.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focusedCLASS Bdriver withprofessional box truck driving experiencewho can operate abox truck (26 feet) across the Salt Lake City, UT area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

What you will do

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as26 ft box truck)
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading | Prioritizing and organizing your truck per schedule and needs
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting!

What we are looking for

• Valid DOT medical card
• Delivery experience within a26 foot box truck
• Driving within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluationsClean driving record
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
• Proven longevity in past employment
• On time delivery practices
