Overview

Salary: $23.00 hourly

The full-time Truck Driver is responsible for delivering materials to customer job sites, forklift operation, and maintaining the lumber yard and warehouse. Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license and a safe driving record. Responsibilities include:

1. Building loads for delivery and unloading freight, including lumber and building supplies
2. Operating a forklift (training and certification provided)
3. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized lumber yard and warehouse
4. Communicating delays or discrepancies with management
5. Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1. Be at least 21 years old
2. Proficient in English to communicate with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports
3. Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle
4. Provide a current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) annually, including violations or a certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
5. Physically qualified to operate a commercial vehicle per FMCSA standards
6. Not disqualified under FMCSA regulations
7. Complete or have completed a driver’s road test and hold a valid certificate
8. Possibly required to have a commercial motor vehicle license, depending on the truck/hauler
9. Possibly required to have a valid Medical Exam certificate or card
10. High school diploma or GED
